Starting form a blank canvas, and a client’s request for and eye catching front property entry, Planning and discussions began for this bare double block with water front basin views front and back.
Plans where submitted to council for the summer hut entertaining area, which was constructed from aged bridged timber feature posts , iron bark decking , baton screening and wrought iron supports.
Excavation and construction of the water fall and water course took place in the meantime, with extensive tropical garden beds prepared and planted. The addition of two hardwood bridges allowed flow through the garden and lighting was added for mood, and for that evening stroll.
The garden, following the main drive, forms the formal entry for an onsite bed and breakfast. Patrons are able to picnic or simply follow the garden path at leisure.
